To send money from your Ellis bank account to a bank account in your home country, we recommend using Wise (https://wise.com/send-money/)!

1. After logging into your Wise account, click 'Send money'.

2. Ensure that the sender currency is 'USD'.

3. Select 'Connect bank account (ACH)' as the payment method.

This option will incur the smallest fee.

4. Enter the currency in which you would like your wire to be received in.

For example, if you are sending money to an Indian bank account, you would most likely select INR as the recipient currency.

5. Enter the amount that you would like to send from your Ellis account, then click 'Continue'.

You will be able to see the fees that Wise will charge to send your wire.

6. Click 'Someone else'.

7. Fill out the recipient's banking information.

8. Select the reason for your transfer from the dropdown menu.

9. Review your transfer details and ensure that everything is correct.

10. Confirm that you would like to pay via ACH.

11. Click 'Use another account'

12. Select 'Manual verification'

13. Enter your Ellis Money bank account details.

You can find your Ellis bank account details in the Ellis app, by clicking on the 'Money' tab and selecting 'Bank transfers'.

14. You will be brought to the page below. Click 'Track your transfer'.

15. Enter the amounts of the two deposits from Wise into your Ellis bank account. Click 'Verify and pay 10.00 USD'.

Once verified, you're all done! The wire amount should be reflected in the recipient's bank account balance in 1-3 business days (excluding weekends and bank holidays).
